FROM HOPS TO BEER - BREWERY TOUR WITH THREE-COURSE BEER MENU

In the past, almost every pub had its own small brewery in the house with its own beer. Depending on the origin and quantity of hops, prepared malt and especially the hardness of the brewing water, the beers were different in taste and quality. This is how the typical local beers were created, but they were all united in one thing / but they all had one thing in common: They were naturally cloudy, i.e. unfiltered.

This is still how our in-house beer varieties are created at Rüsselsheimer Bräu: After fermentation in the fermentation cellar, the beer goes into one of our storage tanks for secondary fermentation. After 6 to 8 weeks at a temperature of 0 to 1 degree Celsius, it has reached its final maturity and can be enjoyed freshly tapped in the brewhouse.

BREWERY TOURS

At the Rüsselsheimer Bräu you can directly experience how our drinkable beer is produced from hops, malt, yeast and water according to old tradition and the purity law. Let our brewer initiate you into the secrets of beer brewing and put your knowledge to the test during a beer tasting. Strengthened by snacks and beer, you will receive your beer connoisseur diploma at the end. The beer seminar takes place for individuals or small groups on Mondays at 17:00. Please confirm the date in advance. For larger groups we can also arrange individual dates. Please contact us!

Take a look behind the bar. During a guided tour you will learn everything worth knowing about beer and you can taste freshly brewed beer directly from the storage tank.
